Screw that, forget about that, I don´t want to know about anything like that

The name's Hamlet and I've got a tale
about madness, lust and a female.
Dad's a ghost and he roams the floors,
lurks at night in Elsinore.
Got a pale face just like Kiss paint,
normal you know this ain't.
Something is rotten up in Denmark, a sick mistake.
My uncle Claudius, his alibi is fishy,
suspicions of murder because he's acting hella shifty
Frailty - Thy name is woman, because my mom's on his D
A-N-I-S-H throne, my dad's ghost tells me:
"Swear (swear, swear), to revenge my regicide,
Claudius iced me one night, under my crown he tries to hide.
So Hamlet here's your mission:
Use your antic disposition
make them think you're crazy,
bring justice, fuse the fission."
Meanwhile my girl Ophelia is goth as hell
keeps a razor by her wrist, rocks out to Soft Cell.
This girl's got more issues than Amy Winehouse,
I'm like 'Get thee to a nunnery, I'm not trying to find a spouse...'
and she says:
"Screw that, forget about that,
I don't want to think about anything like that.
Screw that, forget about that,
I don't want to know about anything like that!"

I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you
I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you

I'm an emo prince, non-committal as could be,
you'd be non-committal too if you were flawed like me.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are on my back and I've had it,
I've got these players down from Norway let them practice in the attic.
I'll have them reenact the murder, watch my uncle's expression,
the play's the thing to catch the king and teach him a lesson.
My uncle freaks out at the play
I know he did it just like OJ.
Can't 187 while he prays because Hamlet won't play that way (nope).
Confront my mom throw her down on the bed,
because this Oedipus complex has got me stressed in the head.
Then I killed my girlfriend's Dad, he was spying now he's dead,
I screamed at my Mom while the blood made the carpet turn red.
See kings lose crowns but princes stay intelligent,
R. Kelly has girl problems? This is drama, that's irrelevant.
Ophelia bursts in throwing columbines and daisies.
Singing songs about virginity gone, - she's honest but she's crazy.
And she says:
"Screw that, forget about that,
I don't want to think about anything like that.
Screw that, forget about that,
I don't want to know about anything like that!"

I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you
I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you

We've got clowns in the graveyard and I'm talking to skulls,
we've got murder and incest, who said Shakespeare was dull!?
My girlfriend took her life, and I'm like, "goodness gracious!"
Her brother wants to duel - Laertes is too pugnacious.
My uncle dipped the tip of the saber in poison (duel time)
then he poisoned the cup that mom started enjoyin' (tool time).
I got stabbed with the poison sword, then I stabbed my girlfriend's brother,
and then I stabbed my uncle and we've all killed each other.
To be or not to be? Well I guess that solves that one.
And I would have stayed in Whittgenberg if I'd known that this would happen.
If you're ever up in Denmark on a moonlit night,
you'll hear Ophelia's sad song when the full moon's bright.
Baby I'm sorry I messed up, goodnight my sweet princess,
may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest...
and they sing:
I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you
I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you
I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you
I've got nothing to do but hang around and get screwed up on you

I´m going to write a poem: (Written to the tune of the song above)

a girl who plurally found the way to the leather

bound book by which she found a plethor´

of ink.

the frail, common book was a treasure to be

touched by angels. the water fell into the arms,

down the well. wishful thinking fell passed the

veil.

This is going nowhere.

I´ll write about something worth while,

later.

A Rant.

Keep your mouth shut you petty hypocritic romanticised human being. Everyone offers their support towards you, for spilt milk essentially. So what? So just because you're socially popular, a good networker and you're just so 'pippy' that you get the sympathy of every one of your friends. You infuriate me to no end, and yes I saw this coming three months ago. It's happened before to me and it's about to happen again.

See you in five and a half weeks, thank god.

So sincerely that it's not a joke,
Dakota.

I am in such a bad mood, sorry.

Edit:

You know what? Screw it. Screw it all.

Mother loves me so.

My mother, she loves me so.

She kept a journal from 1998/99, when I was just three years old.

Excerpt from it:

Tommorow is Dakota's first real birthday part - its on the 20th (Saturday) So that all the kids from his preschool can come ! There should be about 15 kids there. That is just going to rock! I think I was more excited about it until tonight when it sunk in (for D.) that he was going to get 15 new toys tommorow... He's going to be 4 on monday, Geeez. Tonight he kept hugging me and kissing me goodnight and he said, "I love you so much and everything we did today." I worry he gets bored ~ but today felt good. And then he said that- It made my day. My little boy~"

"Dakota's party went well! He had a great time - he danced with John David and got great gifts - not little useless ones. He was lucky. Then on his birthday there was no family dinner on Luke's side so Lou and I had a neighborhood party with an ice cream cake ! He is such a good little boy. I love him so much it hurts my heart. I want him to be happy and ever since I gave birth to him I've known he was a little sad inside - I've seen it in his eyes. But to see him smile and laugh makes my heart light, it is my validations - that I've done ok so far ♥ I love you, son. You are my world - Mom"

I'll miss you.

Molly walked down second ave, asked me for a smoke to give her.

But I was on my uptown, had a ladder to deliver.

I love the way we gel, we smoothly caress the frivolous wounds that teenagedom brings forth.

I wish it had always been this way, not the opposite. We grew apart for no reason other than the ideals of one half of our relationship which by most people's standads would have been just as exciting as a fireworks display inside a building. The hours (really an hour and a half) that we spent talking after what were though to be our long gone similarities floated to the surface of the tub that was just has hot as the rekindled relationship to be, were utter bliss. But I know where we are going, the same place as last time. Not that I mind where we are going it's just that our final destination is so far away. We both know that we're going to end up there and it was decided for us a while ago. It's just that I am an ancy male that can't wait.

Wiseness counts, we both know that, but only one of us applied it for a long time:

I commend you,

Dakota.

THE FOREST

We miss you hiss you LOVE CATS.

So I am in love.

I am crazy in love.

It's called a 'mostly harmless' love: by me.

Iii love a band older than any one of my school mates.

And they are The Cure.

Bollocks you say?

Bollocks you may....
I am going to write a poem.

I have homies the names not are have-d are
important. relationship is this one.
It all happens behind the closed doors
of places that noone ventures to.

Don't go, for I will not eat without you,
That is because the sloth that is
you, will be a Cat of love.
Hithero thou shalt leave me not now
Leave me never. Now
we elope to Florida
we'll have fun for half off and
I'll watch you cringe at
the grasps of my love.

Oh jolly holly I wrap around your head for
you couldn't do it yourself,
with love.

So yeah

So I'm just going to come out and say it,
I'm not connecting socially.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings or anything, it's not malicious towards you or anything. It's just happening and I'm going to let it.

Sincerely,
Dakota.

I am my own Devil and Demise.

  1. I am Me ( and yes, that is capitalized for Personification)

  2. I will always be true to who I am at the time.

  3. I will be loved, eventually.

  4. If I need it, I'll ask for it, so don't tell me.

  5. I enjoy solitude.

This posting won't be amazing, it'll be shorter than not because I need to sleep more.

I am going to start wearing a bandana wherever I go. It's not a fashion statement, it's pretty much a deathwish (And no, I'm not talking about My Chemical Romance). The first time I wore a bandana around in the big R to the Oanoke I was whistled and fist-shooken at by angry big city mexicans. Now the one I wear symbolizes nothing, it's just my wish to wear it. That is a lie and I am not going to explain it.

Fire in C-a-i-r-o

Burn like a fire in Cairo

Burn like a Fire

Blaze like a fire in Cairo

So I'm actually going to put effort into this now, and since Logan and maybe Lindsay read this, I can write whatever I please.

So today was pretty fun, Tai and I went to play soccer in the nice neighborhood. We concluded that everyone in the whole neighborhood knew we weren't from there. Maybe it was my black bandanna in the fashion of 'un bandero' or our fashionably white legs mixed with the ghetto-ness of a water bottle without a lid. It was hot today, got up to 70 and I chose to wear my thick soccer jersey, needless to say, it was hot out there for a pimp. Anyhow, we played soccer on a turf field, which today in Roanoke, is as rare as anti-conflict diamonds on the hands of football star's wives. After the soccer-venture, we walked to 7/11 to get some jazz to eat. As we were walking we realized that we, both wearing soccer shorts without pockets, had forgotten to bring our wallets. So we concluded that being in the richest neighborhood in the city we should be able to find at least 20$ on the ground. I didn't mention before that the kids in this neighborhood were numbered higher than the cost of our houses, at least 10,000$ mate. As we arrive to the main street for South Roanoke we feast our eyes upon a group of 7th graders that are eyeing us with disgust, it was my bandanna I know. But we walk past Famous Anthony's and I see that my mother, Simon and his family are there eating lunch but they didn't see us. So we walk over to the 7/11 and Tai scolds me for looking inside the payphone's change dispenser for money. As I pondered fronting on the garbage cans for some cash, Tai's friends waltz their way over. They were the type that Tai started laughing and holding his forhead and bending over before they even had arrived at our spot. They donned a skateboard, a bike and all Abercrombie apparel. The shorter, curlier haired skateboarder complemented my 'bandero' style headband . After about five minutes of awkward speaking, they left. And after they left, Tai and I left too. We went over near Tinells and sat on the bench, waiting for my mother and Simon's family to exit the restaurant and give us some money. They came out and I asked Simon for some money and it turned out it'd be easier to go home and get something to eat, so we did.

Mid-nite

It's 11:08.

Tommorow, at 11:08, I should be at No Shame Theatre.

Tommorow, at 11:08, I won't be at No Shame Theatre.

Tommorow, at 11:08, I will be on the computer, shamelessly typing facebook comments.

Tommorow, at 11:11, I will realize that not doing something on a Friday night, isn't as bad as it seems.

To be honest, I'll probably go see Coraline by myself.

To use the words of Black Kids, "It's Friday night and I a'int got nobody, what's the use of pushin' this tale,"

It's cold outside.

So this is why some Men never get old.

So I totally screwed myself over.
I said things I didn't mean to, though they weren't entirely not true, it wasn't the timeORplace for them.

Let me apologize,
I'm sorry.

As I type this, I simultaneously am supposed to be typing my four page essay. I have about a page, but I have about three more pages in my head.

The song I am listening to is The Cure's Icing Sugar

and Disintigration is one of the best albums ever made. I'll put it up in about 20 minutes.

This:

This is mine.

I need a place to vent, to let loose though not footloose, somewhere magnificent.

'Sup
----Just chillin'
Aight, want to hit up the bowling rink?
----Nah, Ive got to go.
Go where? Why the hell can;t you come?
----I...
----I just can't.

You're a nasty face!
---C'mon...
No, you're just going to hangout with that trashy..thing!
---I can't come
Now you-
---Your mother is dead.
---That's why.

I'm wide awake now; you're sound asleep now.

I'm in hot water with a lot of people,

I feel like people always expect too much of me, i wish they wouldn't

I miss a lot of people.

I listen to your face

ITS TRUE.

Well, hello my dear friends, how ever many there are of you. I am sitting up at 10:36, listening to a Tsururadio podcast and waiting for The Office special with Jack Black. The song that plays at this moment is saying "I'm absolutley koo-koo for you, and only you can see that we're koo-koo." That pretty much describes my week, or the latter part of it at least. The song changed just like the week will in one hour and 22 minutes. The oh so Superbowl came on, I could care less. What is appealing about fat men running into eachother? It's like a Wal-Mart brawl. Though while I'm critical of it, I secretly wanted to watch it just for that memory I have of one MC Hammer commercial while I was little. But that won't happen again.

Here's an album for you :D

Je Suis Animal--

Je Suis Animal hail from Norway. The band was conceived in a British art school and it's members, both British and Norwegian, eventually settled in Oslo in 2004 and set about creating their special brand of psychedelic indiepop inspired by a smorgasboard of C-86 bands along with My Bloody Valentine and Stereolab to name a few. February saw the release of their debut album, Self-Taught Magic From A Book, on Perfect Pop Records, and no later than this month the album was also released in Australia.Their songs tell tales of murder mysteries, magic and primitive art, as well as themes of sex, spying and Norwegian explorer - Roald Amundsen.
